Tyler Hoellwarth, Law Clerk

Tyler Hoellwarth, Pending

Tyler Hoellwarth currently serves as a Para Legal after joining the firm in 2023. Tyler will join the Law Offices of David P. Sheldon, PLLC as an Esquire upon confirmation from the District of Columbia Barr Association in early May, 2024. Tyler is a 2023 graduate of The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor, and, previously, his Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College in 2020. Tyler is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.

While at Memphis Law, Tyler excelled in public interest and non-profit work, most notably during his tenure as a legal intern for Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc. Tyler tirelessly advocated for clients faced with legal problems that harmed their ability to have such basics as food, shelter, income, medical care, and personal safety. He has brought that same tireless effort to the firm since his arrival.

Tyler also has experience in corporate law, civil litigation issues, transactional concerns, and estate planning. While working as the law clerk for Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW), the largest three-service municipal utility in the U.S., he ensured in-house counsel were prepared for litigation by drafting civil warrants, subpoenas, and conducted document review for trial and civil hearings.

Beyond his legal pursuits, Tyler enjoys learning new languages, traveling, golfing, and volunteering. He is dedicated not only to his clients but also to personal growth and community enrichment.
